Taking a page from last year's effort with the Durufle - we're going to try the "come early or stay late" extra time on Mondays and hope to avert having to come another day - Saturday or otherwise. This will hopefully be workable for the vast majority. We will work to rotate the sections so everyone is scheduled both early and late times - early being 6:30-7:00 and late being 9:00-9:30. We know that this will make for longer Mondays, but thinking that still to be preferable over extra days.
FIRST OF ALL - for EVERYONE - Monday, 9/26, during the regular rehearsal time - work ahead on Qui tollis pecata mundi and Cum Sancto Spiritu - the final two choruses of the Missa section at the beginning. (The Mueller edition numbers are 9 & 12 on pages 75 and 94.)
EXTRA REHEARSALS ON 9/26 AND 10/3 will work Et incarnatus est and Crucifixus in the Credo section. (The Mueller edition numbers are 4 & 5 on pages 144 and 149.)
On 9/26 - BASSES come early at 6:30 and ALTOS stay late, from 9-9:30.
On 10/3 - SOPRANOS come early at 6:30 and TENORS stay late, from 9-9:30.
