Here is an overview of the audition process:

What:  Here are the components of the audition process.

1.  Range and prepared excerpt.

I'll test your range using scales and arpeggios.
I'll hear you sing a short excerpt from the Mozart C Minor Mass (first movement)

Sopranos:  m. 9 - 18 and m. 24-26
Altos: m. 13-26
Tenors:  m. 18-26
Basses:  m. 18-26

(we'll give you a starting note and then you sing the excerpt)

2.  Sight-reading and interval-replication.

There will be a short sight-reading exercise as well as a few interval-replication exercises after the range/excerpt exercise.
